Our experience was great from the jump! My son is a wheelchair user and upon arrival, noticed it wasn’t accessible, but immediately saw the sign that said to call a number for access. I opened the door and there was the server coming to meet us with a portable ramp! The waffles, whether that savory chicken and waffles or the western loaded with eggs, peppers and country gravy or the sweet, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, all were well prepared and super tasty! Will be back for sure!
We visited Capitol Waffle for breakfast yesterday after landing in RVA. We were glad we did! The spot looks so cool and nothing like we have in MA. I like that they offer half-moon style waffles. I can never finish an entire waffle with toppings in one sitting. The customer service was great, the food was awesome, reasonably priced, and the decor was cute. 10/10 would recommend!

As an avid waffle lover I can confidently say these waffles are incredible. Whatever settings their waffle irons are on is perfect. Super fun menu and lots of options for savory or sweet waffle toppings. Great place for a casual brunch or breakfast.
This is a great find in the downtown area right on Main St. You can walk past it if not really looking. The waffles were reasonably priced and very tasty. I only bought a plain waffle to try things out, but next time, I'm going to try some other things on the menu. I would recommend this spot as I plan on returning as well.
I went to Capitol Waffle Shop on a recent Friday morning. I had great service and the food was amazing! I had an iced latte and a waffle, both tasted beyond my expectations. I will definitely be coming back in the future. The staff were also super friendly and they were efficient with service. :) I parked in a nearby parking deck and it was not a far walk to get to the waffle shop (it can be easily overlooked/easy to walk past it if you are not looking for it though).
